Gators Pre-season Week 2

June 3rd

Hello Gators Families,

It's time for week 2 of Gator pre-season training at PWHS. There are some important details for this week so please read to the end of this message.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday:

8 & under: 6 - 7:00 PM

9 & over: 6:30 -7:00 PM Dry Land 7:00 - 8:30 PM Swim

Monday Night June 4th, at PWHS 7:00PM

Our parent meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at 7:00 pm, please plan to attend. At this meeting we will go over the full schedule of practices, meets and events, pool club information, volunteering & meet sign-ups, and address all of your questions. It's also a great opportunity to meet other team parents.

Saturday June 9th - Car Wash & Clothing/Shoe Drive- 9:00 - 11:00 AM

The car wash fundraiser will take place in front of the swim club on Saturday morning - we would love to have strong team attendance and some parents as well!   We will be loading the truck that is coming to collect the bags at 11:00 AM.  For a complete list of items accepted see the attachment-- the more bags we have the more money we raise to support the team.  There is also a post about the Clothing & Shoe Drive on the team Facebook page that you can share with all your friends.
We will have hoses, buckets, sponges, soap available for the car wash - we are asking that everyone bring an old towel or two to use to dry the cars. Helpers may wear bathing suits or any clothes and footwear that can get wet.  Please send your families & friends over to get their cars washed by the Gators!  We will only have the car wash if the weather is nice, but the clothing drive will take place rain or shine.

Special Training Opportunities this week only

Monday Night June 4th 7:00 PM  Any parent interested in training as a Stroke & Turn official is invited to attend the Suburban Swim League official training at PlyMar 7:00-8:00 PM. (Rain Date 6/5) 3032 Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. All are welcome, RSVP is requested in case notification of a rain cancellation becomes necessary. Wednesday Night June 6th 6:30 PM Any parent interested in being trained to use the Meet Manager computer system (used to record meet results, generate heat sheets, timer sheets, etc.) is invited to attend training at 6:30 PM at Aronimink Swim Club. Let us know if you are interested in attending this training and we will coordinate.
